About us:
Volunteer for Community Development and Environment Education (VFCD) is a non-government, non-profit volunteering organization based in Hanoi, Vietnam. VFCD was established by experienced, enthusiastic people who have participated in long-term workcamps of International Volunteer Organizations and the Vietnamese Voluntary Network of Youth. VFCD was established under the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) and all activities and operations are directed by the principles, purposes and regulations of VACNE. VFCD works in close partnership with UNESCO Vietnam.

Mission:
To set up International Voluntary Projects that develop communities and promote conservation of the natural environment. To exchange, explore cultures, broaden experiences and develop skills between Vietnamese Volunteers and International Volunteers. To design and implement meaningful voluntary projects that have a real and sustainable impact and make our world more and more wonderful.
